NESDA symposium

October 5th 2007 the NESDA symposium "Depressie en angst: de symptomen voorbij" (Depression and anxiety: beyond the symptoms) will take place in Amsterdam. At this symposium some first results of the NESDA study will be presented by our researchers. Following the symposium prof.dr. Brenda Penninx, principal investigator of NESDA, will accept her position as professor of psychiatric epidemiology by giving her speach "Psychiatrische epidemiologie, de symptomen voorbij" (Psychiatric epidemiology: beyond the symptoms). Also prof.dr. Richard van Dyck, managing director of NESDA, will give his validictory called "Ggz in eerste en tweede lijn: gaan de symptomen voorbij" (Mental health care in primary and secaondary care: will the symptoms pass?). Prof.dr. van Dyck will continue to be involved as managing director of NESDA.
